23rd October 2025 - You can “design” anything from the top view. When it comes to “making” two rings that will sit next to each other in a way that will enable them to last is far more complicated.

11th of October - One of my customers used the phrase “it has been a good minute” recently during a meeting and I thought it applied really well to how long it has been since I posted to the website.

31st August 2025 - Today we are going to remake a 9ct yellow gold Onyx ring.  The existing ring weighs just 3.17 grams.  The new ring will have a weight of 13.2 grams. That is more than a 400%. increase in the amount of gold used.

12th August - I should have written this blog post many years ago. Getting the size right is very important with a ring and in the case of some rings vital.

22nd July 2025 - Two very different diamond rings. One a yellow gold setting with a brown/champagne diamond and the other a white gold setting with a white diamond. An oval cut diamond and a marquise cut. They do however both have split bands!
