How to buy my jewellery

In this page I am hoping to provide answers to questions you might have if you wanted to buy a piece of jewellery.
The main point is that for orders, design, creation, payment, postage and confirming that your item has arrived and that you are happy with it, you will deal directly with me either in person, via email or the phone.
If I don`t live in Cairns, how can I get an idea of how the piece will look on me?
Email me and I will guide you through the steps to taking some photos that I can then edit to show you wearing the item.
How can I pay?
Paying in person
If you want to pay in person then please phone me on 0458 757 653 to make an appointment. I only meet customers by appointment as I make the jewellery myself and at times I am physically not able to stop and meet with customers.
At my workshop you can pay with following methods:
Credit card - Visa or Mastercard credit
Eftpos - debit card
Cash
Cheque (clearance times apply)
Paying on the phone or internet.
The only method to pay via the internet is Internet Banking. I will provide my bank details if it is the method you choose. I am unable to take Credit Card payments via either of these methods sorry.
Posting me payment.
If you would like to post me payment please use these methods:
personal or bank cheque (clearance times apply)
money order
Please make payments payable to "David Taylor Master Jeweller". Please do not post cash to me.
How long until you send my item?
If I have the item in stock then I will post it out as soon as the payment is received and clear. If the item needs to be built for example to your finger size please email me to get an idea of time frames.
How will you send my item?
I only send fully insured Express Post, trackable and signature on delivery. I do not sell to or post items outside of Australia.
How much is postage and insurance?
For most new pieces of jewellery I thank my out of town customers for their support and trust by posting/insuring free of charge. In the case there is a postage/insurance fee I will advise you why beforehand and it will be displayed on your invoice. Many of the items in the new Specials section will not include free postage sorry.
What if I want to return the item?
With 14 days of receiving the piece simply send the item back to me at your cost the same way it was sent to you, fully insured Express Post, trackable with signature on delivery. Then please email me the parcel number so that I can track it.
