Longtime customer and a change

26th August 2021 - Customer location: Mt Isa, Qld.

Tomorrow the above bracelet is going out to a very longtime customer who now lives in Mt Isa. I first met this customer way back in the early 2000’s when my business was located in Tropical Arcade which is now called Square One. At the time she was living in Cardwell.

Fine chain is one of the few things that I outsource but once chains get heavy like this I make them myself. To give this 9ct yellow gold padlock bracelet that bit of a special touch I custom made the padlock added her initial “T” to the front.

The change

At the end of July I closed the office and workshop in Bunda St I have operated out of since 2008. For the month of August I have still been quoting and designing from home and doing house calls but mainly taking time off.

September will see me move into a new location so I will be contacting those that have asked me to do so as soon as I am set up. I also have a fair bit of jewellery already ordered that I need to make.
