Thinking of Townsville

I spent all of my teenage and young adult life living in Townsville and I still have family there. I have been talking to them over the past weeks making sure everyone is safe.

The night the big wet started all of my children were gathered with us in Townsville at the Casino for the mid Medical Graduation Ball of my oldest son Aidan. We planned to stay in Townsville for the long weekend but as the wet looked like it was going to hit Cairns badly we returned home before the roads got cut off. Little did we know that Townsville would cop the worst after we left.

My thoughts go out to all my friends and customers in Townsville. Townsville mob are a tough lot and they will get through this…..just wish they did not have to :(
